Work out your semester GPA and your cumulative CGPA from your credit hours and grades.
GPA = sum of (credit hours × grade points) ÷ sum of credit hours.
To include earlier semesters, enter your previous CGPA and the credit hours it covers. The cumulative CGPA is (previous CGPA × previous credit hours + this semester's points) ÷ (previous credit hours + this semester's credit hours).
The default grades use the common 4.0 scale. Universities differ, so choose Custom to type your own grade points.
GPA is for one semester. CGPA covers all the semesters you have finished so far.
There is no single rule. Universities publish their own conversions, so check the one your university uses.
In most universities an F counts as 0 grade points and its credit hours stay in the total. Rules for repeating a course differ, so check your university's policy.
